Biography

Since debuting in 2015 as a key songwriter for Seventeen, Vernon has evolved into a creative powerhouse with over 90 writing credits, ranking second in the group only to Woozi. His career is defined by a distinct, edgy versatility—ranging from his work with the musical collective M.O.L.A to high-profile global collaborations like his "grand slam" remix with Charli XCX.Beyond the group, he has carved out a solo identity through self-composed tracks like "Bands Boy" and the pop-punk-infused "Black Eye." His influence now spans across media, from hosting Apple Music shows to an upcoming film cameo in Anderson .Paak’s K-Pops! His technical mastery was officially cemented in 2024 when he was promoted to a regular member of KOMCA, proving he’s as much an architect of the music as he is the face of it.
